A TPA, not an insurance company

MagnaCare is a third-party administrator (TPA) for self-insured clients, helping them manage their health plans. We are not an insurance company. We intake bills on behalf of the employer, review them for accuracy, and confirm the amount to be paid. For some clients, we also arrange payments.

Since our health plan designs are customized for each client, they decide which services to cover, and how much to cover. Therefore, it is important you check eligibility for each patient on the provider portal before performing a service. If you need clarification on a patient’s coverage, contact Provider Services at 800.352.6465.

Joining the MagnaCare network is as easy as 1, 2, 3

Know a great provider? Nominate a colleague (or even yourself) for participation in the MagnaCare provider network.

Send your request to [email protected] or call 888.624.6202. Include your office name, specialty, location, and contact information.

Within 48 hours, our team will email you our contracting packet that includes the standard individual contract, application, and sample fee schedule.

Return the application by email or by post. The credentialing process takes between 6-8 weeks, at which time you will be notified of the determination.
